Rob Dowling has been a member of Shiplake Tennis Club for over 30 years and believes that playing at the club has had a positive influence on his tennis career.

A keen sportsman Rob has competed to a high level in a wide variety of sports including rugby, football, swimming, and athletics but his real passion has always been tennis.

Rob is a licensed LTA Coach and has been coaching tennis for the last 2 years. He continues to play tennis competitively in both doubles and singles in Berkshire and Oxfordshire. His move into coaching has been extremely successful and he is building an extensive client base.

Rob is extremely passionate about getting people to enjoy the game of tennis with a focus on creating personal confidence in each of the players he coaches.

Rob is a full time coach at St Mary’s school in Ascot and spends the rest of his time coaching at Shiplake Tennis Club.
