Join us for Family Friendly Tennis at Shiplake Tennis Club

With three recently refurbished and floodlit courts, the Club provides social play and club championships, and also enters ladies and mens’ teams into winter and summer adult leagues.

We have a thriving junior membership and a junior development programme that incorporates friendly and fun coaching sessions from the age of 5 upwards.

STSC enjoys both a full calendar of tennis events and numerous social events throughout the year. The Club is LTA affiliated and actively encourages its members to become LTA Advantage members.

Love this club!. I only joined this year as a beginner but have found it very welcoming with lots of encouragement to play. Club sessions are inclusive and well run and cater for all levels. There is a strong social scene which is a lot of fun, the annual club supper this year was outstanding and very good vfm!

A wonderful tennis club with 3 excellent floodlit courts, a well maintained clubhouse with facilities and a great deck for watching a match or sitting and socialising. Since I joined Shiplake Tennis Club I have not only improved my game due to the vibrant, well attended “club sessions” but met and befriended a terrific group of people. The best tennis club I’ve ever joined and I would confidently recommend it to anyone. For beginner to advanced players, whether single or as a family, Shiplake has it all.

When I joined the club circa 1985. It consisted of two courts , a small shed masquerading as a clubhouse, little or no competitive tennis and not a huge membership. A far cry then from the fine club we enjoy so much today . Three regularly maintained floodlit courts, a well equipped clubhouse with facilities, competitive tennis and coaching for all ages all enjoyed by a strong membership led by an enthusiastic, proactive committee.
